Once again Paper Power is tearing through Manhattan. Time to take my show on the road. In spite of being tucked away for a year the frothy organza exploded, as always, from its suitcase looking great. This moment always reminds me of that scene in “Rear Window” when Grace Kelly billows that fluffy gown out of a tiny suitcase in front of incredulous Jimmy Stewart. The froth is now on booth 2043′s wall and playing an elegant supporting role to the marble paper. It’s all marble this year. Letterpress came along for the ride but paper’s riding shotgun. We’ll see if we can pick up a few passengers on the way. I’m happy to be neighbors again with Cathy from Global Solutions in Seattle for the fifth year in a row. Newly across the way in the 2000 row (though not new to this show, their booth setup is amazing) is Albertine Press from Boston.
NSS runs May 20-23, 2012 at Javits Convention Center in New York. Come on over!
